The Evolution of Human Consciousness is a series of seven paintings created by Tom Kemp and Colin Smallwood. Each paiting has its own original soundtrack created by Will Saxton and we had some major help with the humanoid-dragon sculpture from John Burroughs. This painting series focuses on the evolution of human consciousness. It studies our society from the first sparks of our brain's frontal lobe, through modern human philosophy and projects the exponential transcendence of human consciousness from three dimensions to infinite possibility.You are viewing it in its intended form as a "V" shape. The composition of each painting draws the viewer from the top left corner, down to the crucible and bring them back up to the top right corner. You can click on each painting for an in-depth look at the philosophy and composition of the individual works.
