Art Alchemy is an eclectic variety of elemental artists combining their works in the crucible of creativity. The purpose of this combination is the transmutation of their art and the lives of those who view them into spiritual gold. In other words, artalchemycircle.com is a hub where creative people can link to other creative people and easily collaborate on projects. We feature the best new and exciting projects on our main page. Colin and I were just in a gallery show called Life in the Universe in downtown Baltimore. Currently Featured: Colin Smallwood and Cheezer brought their Evolution of Human Consciousness Series to the Whole Gallery in Baltimore for and event produced by Evolver.net. The whole thing was a complete sucess, so stay tuned 'cause I'm getting together as much info and as many pics as I can find for this link.

 
   
 

Currently Featured: Colin Smallwood and Tom Kemp displayed their new artwork at Cafe Nola on June 5th-June 13th. The show featured a lot of their recent LIVE paintings from Cafe 611, and Cafe Nola, plus a few other ecclectic items. It was called the Bizarre Bazaar because the work is a very strange mix of amazing new paintings, arranged almost haphazardly around the room to give the audience the feel of being in a marketplace for art. The show was at Cafe Nola for 2 weeks and was a fun time for everyone involved. Follow this link for pics of the event.

 
     

Currently Featured: Cafe 611 on the north end of Market Street in downtown Frederick has started to incorportate LIVE PAINTING by Colin and Cheezer on the side stage while bands, comedians, and entertainers perform on the main stage.

 
     

Currently Featured: Doug Powell has been doing a killer job at reviving the comedy scene in downtown Frederick. He started hosting comedy nights at Cafe Nola, and he has a new album available for download on itunes. He will be performing all around the Frederick, D.C., Baltimore and Northern VA area this fall/winter so go to meandmybrain.com and check it out.

 
     

Currently Featured: Sitali, an explosive rock trio based out of Washington D.C. add their ecclectic band of sound to America's musical legacy, writing from socially conscious platforms. The title of the band's new album "Aluta Continua" (The Struggle Continues) summarizes Sitali's commitment to political and social empowerment through art. Currently Featured: Flux 09 is a student design competition for undergraduate and graduate student work and freelance work created between August 2008–October 2009. The show runs from 6:30 - 9:30pm at the Blue Elephant Art Center in Downtown Frederick. Art Alchemy Circle is a sponsor and we will have a booth set up there so come down and say hi to us, plus check out some up and coming graphic designers in the area.
